Tuyen Quang supports the family of two children who tragically drowned

NDO - On July 1, at Cay Co irrigation lake in village 10, Luong Vuong commune, Tuyen Quang city, a tragic drowning incident occurred, causing the death of two children.

The victims were identified as Hoang Minh Quan (born in 2013) and Hoang Van Luan (born in 2014), both residing in village 10, Luong Vuong commune, Tuyen Quang city. Both were students at Luong Vuong Primary School.

Earlier, at around 10am the same day, when the family returned from the fields and did not see the two children at home, they went looking for them. When they arrived at Cay Co irrigation lake, they found two bicycles on the shore and the children's sandals. They determined that the two children had drowned. The family and villagers organized a search and found the bodies of the two children.

Immediately after receiving information about the incident, leaders of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee visited and encouraged the families. Authorities at all levels and political and social organizations supported each family with more than 20 million VND.

The above incident is a warning for parents to pay more attention in managing, caring for, and protecting their children, to further improve their skills in preventing drowning accidents, and to equip children with necessary life skills to avoid unfortunate incidents.
