Admissions 2025: Cao Thang Technical College reserves many quotas for direct admission

Cao Thang Technical College has just announced its 2025 enrollment plan after receiving official instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training, in which the school reserves many quotas for direct admission.

Dr. Le Dinh Kha, Principal of Cao Thang Technical College, said that after the Ministry of Education and Training issued instructions on college admissions, the school officially announced its admissions. Accordingly, in 2025, the school will consider 4,500 targets for 18 majors, with 4 admission methods including: considering academic records, direct admission, considering high school graduation exam results and considering the results of the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

In 2025, Cao Thang Technical College will directly recruit 15% of its target.

In the direct admission method, the school reserves 15% of the admission quota. Candidates who meet one of the following criteria will be considered for direct admission: Have a letter of recommendation from a former student (graduated from the school for 3 years or more) or a lecturer or industrial advisory board (IAB) of Cao Thang Technical College; excellent (or good) students in grade 11; excellent (or good) students in semester 1 or semester 2 of grade 12; people who have graduated from college or university.

Deadline for direct admission registration is expected to be May 30.

In the method of considering transcripts (60% of the target), the school considers the scores of 4 semesters (semesters 1 and 2 of grade 11; semesters 1 and 2 of grade 12). The admission combination includes math + 2 subjects (candidates choose 2 subjects from the following 6 subjects: physics, chemistry, literature, English, information technology, technology); math has a coefficient of 2 in all combinations.

Deadline for receiving high school transcript applications is expected to be June 10.

The school accepts applications for assessment test scores (5% of the target) from now and is expected to end on July 10.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam results (20% of the target), the school is accepting applications and the deadline is expected to be July 30. Candidates can use a combination of 3 subjects, in which math is compulsory (coefficient 2), the remaining 2 subjects candidates can choose from among physics, chemistry, literature, English, information technology and technology.

In all methods, candidates can register for admission online on the school's website, or submit the application form directly at the school, or submit it by post .

Dr. Le Dinh Kha added: "In 2025, in addition to the female technical student scholarship, the Cao Thang alumni scholarship and the business scholarship, the school will have additional study encouragement scholarships for candidates. Accordingly, candidates with a total score of 3 subjects (excluding priority points) from 27 points will receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees, from 25.5 points will receive a 25% reduction in tuition fees and from 24 points will receive a 10% reduction in tuition fees".
