Propaganda for party congresses at all levels: Unifying ideology, creating social consensus

(GLO)- To make the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term a success, at this time, 135 Party Committees of communes and wards in Gia Lai province are actively promoting propaganda work and launching patriotic emulation movements so that the Congress is truly a broad political activity.

Strengthen propaganda work

The Vinh Quang Commune Party Committee was established on July 1, 2025 under Decision No. 1933-QD/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. After its establishment, the Party Committee had 35 subordinate Party cells with 585 Party members. Of which, there were 20 village Party cells, 7 school Party cells, 3 police Party cells, 3 military Party cells, and 2 health station Party cells.

As soon as the new government apparatus was put into stable operation, the Commune Party Committee issued a plan to organize the First Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; established subcommittees to serve the congress; at the same time, strengthened propaganda work under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Secretary of the Vinh Quang Commune Party Committee Nguyen Ke Dau informed that according to the plan, the Commune Party Committee will hold a congress of delegates in 2 days (August 20-21). Realizing the importance and significance of the congress, the Commune Party Committee has focused on propaganda work, integrating it with patriotic emulation movements. "The propaganda content focuses on affirming the role, position, potential, and development space of the commune after the merger in the overall development process of the province. The Commune Party Committee has established a propaganda subcommittee, issued an implementation plan and promoted propaganda work about the congress to cadres, Party members and people of all walks of life," said Mr. Dau.

In Bong Son ward, Mr. Nguyen Trung Dat, Deputy Secretary of the ward Party Committee, said: The Party Committee has issued a plan to organize the first Party Congress of the ward, term 2025 - 2030. At the same time, it issued decisions to establish and assign tasks to subcommittees on content, service, and propaganda; assign specific tasks to each member of the subcommittee to ensure that the preparation work is carried out seriously, on schedule and as required.

“It is expected that the Party Congress of Bong Son Ward will take place in 2 days (August 10-11). In the coming term, the Party Committee of the ward will clearly identify breakthroughs including efforts to reform administration, accompany businesses, remove obstacles in investment, develop production and business, thereby creating jobs, increasing budget revenue and ensuring social security. In addition, the ward identifies the task of upgrading urban areas as reflected in investing in completing infrastructure and building a civilized lifestyle. Therefore, propaganda work is given special attention to raise awareness and unify ideology among cadres, party members and people, creating social consensus,” Mr. Dat shared.

Building a strong Party and political system

The Vinh Son Commune Party Committee has directed the Commune Party Building Committee to proactively develop a propaganda plan for the 2025-2030 term Congress, orienting propaganda content at 23 subordinate grassroots party organizations. Party committees and Party cells of 12 villages and hamlets have integrated propaganda about the Party Congress in regular meetings and party activities. According to the plan, the Commune Party Committee will hold the congress for 2 days (August 13-14). Propaganda work focuses on highlighting the results of socio-economic development, Party building, maintaining national defense and security in the past term; major orientations for the 2025-2030 term with breakthroughs to improve people's lives and ensure social security...

The Subcommittee has established a Congress Propaganda and Celebration Team, tasked with developing a plan and organizing the implementation of propaganda activities before, during and after the congress. Directly inspecting the preparation work for the Party Congresses of communes and wards for the 2025 - 2030 term in July 2025, Comrade Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, especially noted that the Party Committees of communes and wards must pay special attention to the propaganda work of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the 14th National Party Congress according to Plan No. 80-KH/BTGDVTW of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and Plan No. 03-KH/TU of the Provincial Party Committee.
