The implementation of propaganda work on traffic safety must be carried out seriously, ensuring that it is suitable to the situation, characteristics and conditions of each agency, unit and locality. Improve the quality of propaganda work, disseminate laws on traffic safety, pay attention to innovating the content and form of propaganda suitable to each subject and locality; mobilize the participation and active coordination of all levels, sectors and mass organizations in the province in ensuring traffic safety.
According to the plan, the propaganda targets are cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces and people of all walks of life in the province.
The propaganda content revolves around disseminating, thoroughly understanding, and implementing tasks and solutions to ensure traffic safety according to the direction of the Secretariat, National Assembly , Government, Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Traffic Safety Committee.
In particular, focusing on disseminating, popularizing andeducating the law on traffic safety, building a traffic culture in 2025, focusing on disseminating legal regulations related to business conditions for transport activities; regulations on organizing medical examination and issuing health certificates for drivers of transport businesses; managing and protecting road and inland waterway traffic safety corridors; vehicle load; vehicles that have expired; speed of vehicles; journey monitoring equipment; standards of road signaling systems; measures to prevent and combat traffic accidents...
In terms of form, propaganda is mainly carried out through mass media; directly to agencies, schools, mass organizations, enterprises, transport cooperatives, training facilities, testing facilities, and driver's license issuance facilities for oral propaganda, combined with distribution of propaganda materials (books, newspapers, leaflets, etc.) or screening of reports and video clips on the consequences of traffic accidents, integrated through meetings and conferences of agencies and units.
In addition, visual propaganda through electronic portals, electronic boards; seminars, dialogues, talks, contests, competitions, photo exhibitions, music, film, and literary and artistic creation campaigns on the topic of traffic safety; mobilizing and implementing movements to protect rural traffic safety.
Member agencies of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee effectively implement signed and issued programs and plans on traffic safety propaganda; regularly remind cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, union members and association members to set an example of voluntarily complying with traffic safety laws and building a traffic culture.
The provincial police have increased coordination with media agencies, relevant departments, agencies and sectors to propagate, disseminate and educate laws on road and inland waterway traffic safety; focusing on groups of people at high risk of causing accidents such as: passenger car drivers, truck drivers, students, youth and teenagers.
The Department of Construction continues to implement tasks and solutions to ensure traffic safety according to the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, and activities to propagate, disseminate and educate traffic safety laws in conjunction with the theme of Traffic Safety Year 2025 "Safe journey, creating the future" to raise awareness of self-compliance with the law and build a culture of safe traffic for people and businesses.
The unit continues to direct enterprises and cooperatives operating in transportation to strengthen propaganda and remind drivers and service staff to strictly comply with traffic safety laws; commit to not allowing drivers to use stimulants, especially drugs, and not to drive vehicles beyond the prescribed hours to ensure health and safety.
The Department of Education and Training shall promote the dissemination and education of traffic safety laws in schools, and direct educational institutions in the province to effectively implement Directive No. 31/CT-TTg dated December 21, 2023 of the Prime Minister on strengthening traffic safety work for school-age children in the new situation, focusing on content and forms suitable for students at each level of education.
The Department coordinates with the Traffic Police to disseminate relevant legal regulations to parents and students for strict implementation; strengthens the organization of extracurricular activities, competitions on traffic skills, skills in controlling vehicles such as bicycles, electric bicycles... for students to improve their traffic skills and handling unexpected situations.
