The end of a meaningful journey
After nearly three months of implementation, the campaign has traveled more than 2,200 km from the South to the North, connecting more than 16,000 people in localities through community interaction activities and meaningful initiatives implemented in many localities across the country, contributing to honoring the values that SABECO has always pursued on its 150-year journey of development with the country.
The series of activities “Heritage Journey” with the red double-decker bus passing through 9 locations from the South to the North attracted more than 10,000 participants, with many meaningful heritage and community engagement activities. More than 4,200 people had the opportunity to learn about waste classification and recycling through the automatic can and bottle treatment model. Along with that, the series of events “Heritage Night” also contributed to spreading pride and community engagement, with more than 6,000 people in 3 provinces and cities coming together to honor the heritage and local cultural beauty at vibrant and grand music nights. Three iconic beer brands of SABECO including Bia Saigon, Bia 333 and Bia Lac Viet were also present throughout this journey, representing SABECO's proud heritage. These are familiar brands that have accompanied many generations of Vietnamese people, contributing to creating emotional moments of celebration and strengthening the bond between SABECO and the local community over the past 150 years.

During the campaign, SABECO strongly affirmed its commitment to stand with and rise up with Vietnam, not only in moments of celebration but also in difficult times, by changing the campaign plan to focus resources on supporting localities affected by storms and floods. The “Wall of Unity” activity is a special mark that reflects this spirit. With more than 1,700 messages and more than 2,200 shares on social networks, this activity has become a strong symbol of the spirit of solidarity and sharing of the Vietnamese people.
In that spirit, at the Closing Ceremony of the “150 Years of Heritage Rising” Campaign, SABECO and Vietnam Beverage Company Limited (VietBev) donated VND 1.5 billion through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support local communities in the South Central region to rebuild their lives after the damage caused by recent storms and floods. Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, representative of VietBev, presented this support to Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Previously, SABECO also supported 3 billion VND through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local Fatherland Fronts to help people overcome damage and stabilize their lives after natural disasters and floods.

Honoring common values through the “Honoring the Torchbearer” Award
The closing ceremony is not only an opportunity for SABECO to look back on its heritage journey, but also an opportunity to honor individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the community – people who represent the spirit of resilience, solidarity and aspiration for progress that SABECO has always pursued for 150 years.
In that spirit, the “Honoring the Torchbearers” award became an important highlight of the event, affirming SABECO’s belief that the development of a country is not only made up of the legacy from the past but also by the people who have been silently dedicating themselves to the present and the future. The award is an initiative initiated and implemented by SABECO in collaboration with Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, under the direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to recognize outstanding individuals who have made meaningful contributions to the progress of the community.

The Top 15 most outstanding inspirational faces were selected through online voting combined with the evaluation of the Evaluation Council. During the 10 days of opening the voting portal on the website, the award received more than 20,000 votes from the public across the country, demonstrating the strong influence and support of the community for the program. The final evaluation round was conducted under the close supervision of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to ensure representation and social fairness according to gender, age, ethnicity, region and field of expertise.
The individuals were honored in 6 main areas, which are also the core areas in SABECO's commitment to sustainable development, including: Education - Vocational training; Sustainable environmental development; Balanced lifestyle and community health; Community development; Culture - Arts - Sports for the community; Science - Technology for the community. These categories are symbolized through the Iconic Stone collection, crafted from Saigon Beer using "blast-freezing" technology. Inspired by the proud Vietnamese culture of beer drinking and toasting, each Iconic Stone is shaped according to the core values of each category, reflecting the true spirit of the "fire-bearers".
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , said: “During the implementation of the 'Honoring the Inspirers' award, we have witnessed many beautiful and inspiring stories from all over the country. Each honored person represents the true national spirit of the Vietnamese people - resilient, compassionate, and always ready to contribute to the community. This award has profound social significance, contributing to spreading good values and inspiring good people and good deeds in the community. We believe that the stories of the honored people will arouse compassion, responsibility and the desire to contribute in every Vietnamese person. The Vietnam Fatherland Front appreciates SABECO's companionship on this journey and hopes to continue to cooperate with the company in other meaningful community activities in the future.”

Mr. Lester Tan, General Director of SABECO shared: "The 'Honoring the Torchbearers' Award has created a strong spread, connecting large and small communities across the country. This is not only a national award, but also a community award, where people are connected and celebrate the common spirit of the Vietnamese people.
