Opening theEducation Technology Conference - EDTECH VIETNAM 2025, held in Ho Chi Minh City, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Chairman of HCA, said that education technology is not only a trend but has become an indispensable part of the modern education ecosystem. The world is witnessing a strong wave of digital transformation in education, from virtual classrooms, digital learning materials to technology-integrated teaching methods.
"Vietnam is also making strong strides in the journey of digital education transformation. Some prominent trends in recent times such as personalized learning, blended learning, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), game-based learning (Gamification), mobile learning and artificial intelligence (AI) in education are gradually replacing traditional teaching and learning tools, instruments and methods," said Mr. Long.

Faced with the dramatic changes in technology in education, the Ho Chi Minh City Informatics Association organized the first Educational Technology Conference - EDTECH VIETNAM 2025 with the accompaniment of the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Science and Technology.
This is also one of the city’s specific actions in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. Ho Chi Minh City has been implementing many specific strategies to create a smart education ecosystem, where technology plays a core role in improving the quality of teaching and learning.
The conference also helps to identify and train human resources to meet the requirements of the 4.0 industrial revolution. Along with promoting the application of technology in education, focusing on the development of science and technology, creating a favorable environment for educational technology (EdTech) enterprises to develop also plays a key role, contributing significantly to the digital transformation process of the city's education sector.

In its first organization, EDTECH VIETNAM 2025 also had many discussion sessions with topics that are receiving great attention from government agencies, businesses, and international experts.
