BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC) has just given 30 million VND to the people of Dan Thuong commune, Ha Hoa district to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
Representative of BIC, State Bank of Vietnam , Phu Tho Province Branch presented a symbolic plaque to support the people of Dan Thuong commune.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3, Dan Thuong commune was submerged in floodwaters and completely isolated. After the water receded, people are now facing many difficulties in their lives. In order to share the difficulties and damages caused by storm No. 3, BIC hopes that through this activity, it will add motivation to help people overcome difficulties, quickly restore their lives and livelihoods after natural disasters, and at the same time spread the spirit of humanity and humane values in society.
It is known that BIC has mobilized its staff and employees to donate 1 day's salary with a total amount of nearly 1 billion VND. This amount has been provided by BIC through the Vietnam Fatherland Front or organized by delegations to directly provide relief to affected provinces to support people and schools to quickly overcome losses after the storm and return to normal life.
