At noon on July 31st, the Traffic Police Department of Vinh Long Provincial Police, in coordination with the Long Ho District Police and other relevant agencies, was still examining the scene and conducting an autopsy to investigate the cause of the traffic accident that resulted in one fatality.

According to initial information, at approximately 6:00 AM on the same day, Mr. PHM (53 years old, residing in Long Thoi commune, Cho Lach district, Ben Tre province ) was driving a motorbike with license plate 71C4 - 098.82 on National Highway 1 in the direction from Vinh Long to Can Tho.
As he was descending the slope of Phu Quoi Bridge (located in Phu Long A hamlet, Phu Quoi commune, Long Ho district, Vinh Long province), Mr. M.'s motorbike suddenly collided with a truck with license plate 60C - 366.30, driven by PVT (30 years old, residing in Phuoc Thien commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province ) traveling in the same direction.
Authorities are examining the scene and investigating the cause of the accident.
The collision caused Mr. M. to fall onto the road, sustaining serious injuries. He was then taken to the hospital by local residents for emergency treatment. Due to the severity of his injuries, the victim later died.
Due to the rain and proximity to rush hour at the time of the accident, there was localized traffic congestion in the area. Family members said that Mr. M. was on his way to work in Can Tho City when the accident occurred.
The aforementioned accident, which resulted in one fatality, is currently being investigated by the Traffic Police Department of Vinh Long Provincial Police in coordination with the Long Ho District Police.
