Telecommunications and information technology infrastructure in the area has been gradually invested, 4G mobile network has reached all communes. Currently, 100% of commune officials and civil servants are equipped with computers connected to the internet; 83% of the population has smartphones. Commune officials, civil servants and people actively apply information technology in leadership, management and handling of administrative procedures. The commune has set up a commune information page to post directives, management documents, administrative procedures; set up a zalo group for commune and village officials to promptly direct and unify. Currently, the Commune Reception and Results Department performs 127 administrative procedures on the Public Service Portal to handle administrative procedures for the people.
Digital economy is gradually taking shape. The district directs departments, offices and units to support businesses in digital transformation, such as: Information support, consulting and legal support; tax and accounting support; support for credit access. Up to now, 100% of businesses in the area use electronic invoices and declare and pay taxes online. Coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and the POSTMART e-commerce trading floor to select 6 OCOP agricultural products.
All levels from district to grassroots have promoted propaganda to build a digital society and digital citizens. To date, the proportion of the population with smartphones has reached 76.51%. The proportion of households with smartphones has reached 95.40%. The proportion of people aged 15 and over with transaction accounts at banks or other licensed organizations has reached 56.47%.
