Despite being 70 years old, People's Artist Nhu Quynh still retains the charming beauty of a Hanoian girl. Born in Bat Dan Street, Hanoi , into an artistic family, she soon revealed her talent and passion for art. After graduating from the acting major at the Vietnam Theatre School, Nhu Quynh participated in her first film, "Song of the Battle".
With the role of Co Net in the film "Den hen lai len" (1974), she won the Best Actress award at the 3rd Vietnam Film Festival. Nhu Quynh has a huge film portfolio, not only domestically but also internationally. In 2007, she won the Best Foreign Actress award in Korea for her role in "Co dai vang".
Despite her advanced age, Nhu Quynh is still working hard in the arts, recently participating in films such as "Don't Make Me Forget", "The Taste of Love", and "Journey of Justice".
