Preparations for the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025) are being rushed by the two competing teams Vietnam 1 (Da Nang) and Finland. Both aim to make a strong impression right from the first performance of the biggest fireworks festival season ever.
As the home team and also the opening team, Vietnam 1 showed great determination with more than 5,000 fireworks and more than 100 diverse firework effects.
The performance of the Vietnamese team was divided into 4 parts: Blending - Honoring - Integration - Pioneering & Glory , leading the audience through many emotions.
On the opposite side, the Finnish team – the reigning DIFF champions – also attracted attention when bringing more than 15,000 fireworks, many of which were special. Captain Johan Hollaender shared: “We wanted to create a surprise from the first night. As champions, there is pressure, but we are ready.”
The Finnish performance was inspired by island culture, hunting traditions and especially the image of the “Northern Lights” – a characteristic of this country. The theme “Cultural Essence” promises to bring a unique and impressive identity./.
