Tua Chua is a mountainous district located in the Northeast of Dien Bien province, the center of the district is 126km from Dien Bien Phu city - a place that is blessed by nature with many conditions for tourism development. Tua Chua has a natural area of 68,414.88 hectares, a population of 61,017 people in 2020, with 7 ethnic groups, of which ethnic minorities account for more than 95%. The whole district has 12 communes and 1 town.
According to Mr. Dang Tien Cong, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Tua Chua district, Tua Chua night market is a typical product of Tua Chua district. Currently, Tua Chua night market is the "only" tourism product exploiting the night market model in Dien Bien province. After nearly 1 year of opening, the number of visitors to the market has increased every week and this proves that the attractiveness and appeal of Tua Chua night market to tourists is very large.

Tua Chua night market was put into operation from October 15, 2022. After 9 months of operation, the night market is attracting tourists every Saturday night and is a place for people in Tua Chua district to exchange and trade local agricultural products. |
