Vietravel Airlines operates charter flights from Muan International Airport (Korea) to Cam Ranh

On September 29, Vietravel Airlines operated a charter flight from Muan International Airport (South Korea) to Cam Ranh International Airport with 208 passengers. This is the first flight in a series of 14 charter flights that Vietravel Airlines will coordinate with partners to carry out from now until the end of November 2023. Previously, in May, Vietravel Airlines also operated a series of charter flights connecting Nha Trang - Daegu.

A representative of Vietravel Airlines shared, “Successfully carrying out charter flights to Korea is an opportunity for us to promote the airline's image to this potential customer market, and at the same time, it is a basis for evaluating and launching suitable flight products and promoting work with authorities to soon put this regular commercial route into operation."

According to data from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism , in the first 8 months of 2023, international visitors to Vietnam reached more than 7.8 million, reaching 98% of the 2023 plan. Of which, Korea continues to be the largest market bringing visitors to Vietnam with 2.2 million visitors (accounting for 29% of total visitors). Khanh Hoa alone welcomed about 750,000 Korean visitors in the first 8 months (accounting for 58% of the province's international visitors).
