On October 2nd, the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City ( Quang Nam province ) announced that Nguyen Du Secondary School (Tam Ky City) had disciplined three students involved in a fight that led to a male parent storming into the classroom and assaulting an 8th-grade student.

Earlier, on the afternoon of September 24th, an incident occurred at this school where Mr. HVL, the parent of student B. (class 8/11), arbitrarily entered the classroom and assaulted a student. The reason was that earlier that day, during the school's football tournament, the match between class 8/9 and 8/11 had ended with class 8/11 winning.

In the early afternoon, B., a student in class 8/11, teased and provoked T. and H. (class 8/9), so the two students chased and beat B., causing swelling in his left eye.

Upon entering the classroom, the teacher noticed that student B.'s eye was swollen and reminded him to ask his parents to take him to the hospital for a check-up. Afterward, student B. asked permission to go to the security guard's office to borrow a phone to call his parent, Mr. L., to come and take him to the doctor.

Later that afternoon, the father brought his child back to school, but due to his anger over his child being beaten, Mr. L. stormed into the classroom and assaulted two 8th/9th grade students, T. and H., as a form of "punishment."

Following the incident, Nguyen Du Secondary School established a disciplinary committee and held a meeting with relevant parties to hear reports on the situation and analyze the students' behavior.

Based on the disciplinary committee's recommendation, the principal of Nguyen Du Secondary School issued disciplinary decisions against three students for violations. Specifically, T. and H. (class 8/9) were reprimanded for chasing and assaulting a classmate, and their parents were notified to cooperate in helping the students overcome their shortcomings. B. (class 8/11) was warned and directly assisted in overcoming his shortcomings for intentionally teasing a classmate, indirectly causing the incident.

Regarding this incident, the Tan Thanh Ward Police have also worked with Mr. HVL (the parent who arbitrarily entered the school and assaulted the student) and are consolidating the file to advise the Tam Ky City Police on issuing a decision to handle the case.
