In 2010, an Apple employee accidentally left a prototype iPhone 4 in a bar, causing a stir in the tech world.

In 2024, the iPhone manufacturer experienced a similar serious incident. Two YouTube channels posted videos of a 14-inch MacBook Pro using the M4 chip – a product that Apple had not yet released.

The video shows the device packaging with configuration information, including a 10-core M4 CPU, 10-core GPU, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, three Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a Space Black color.

According to the About This Mac menu shown in the video, this MacBook Pro is expected to be released in November 2024.

According to MacRumors , considering that the laptop uses a standard M4 chip instead of an M4 Pro or M4 Max chip, this could be the standard 14-inch MacBook Pro model.

Thus, the minimum RAM for the MacBook Pro line has doubled from 8GB to 16GB, as rumored. The machine also adds an extra Thunderbolt 4 port.

Finally, Space Black is a new color option for the standard version, as currently only Space Gray and Silver are available.

Other specifications listed on the box include screen size, resolution, MagSafe 3 port, HDMI port, and SD card slot. Aside from that, there are no significant design changes.

The first images of the new MacBook Pro were shared by user ShrimpApplePro on social media platform X last week.

However, the authenticity of the images remains questionable. The two most recent videos increase the credibility of the leaks, but there is still no 100% proof.

According to ShrimpApplePro, at least one of the unreleased 14-inch MacBook Pro models has been listed for sale on a private Facebook group.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Apple might hold an event in October to announce new Mac computers.
