Accordingly, as initially reported by CAND Newspaper, at the time of the accident due to natural disasters at around 10:30 p.m. on November 16, the Phuong Trang passenger bus with license plate 50H-531.14 traveling from Da Lat to Quang Ngai had 32 people on board. Among them, 6 victims died at the scene and are being identified by authorities, 7 unaffected people were received by Phuong Trang Company, the remaining 19 injured people were taken to Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital by the 115 Emergency Center, Khanh Vinh Medical Center and authorities at 1:25 a.m. on November 17.

Immediately after receiving the patients, the hospital mobilized all doctors, nurses, and caregivers from the trauma surgery, general surgery, resuscitation, and paraclinical departments to focus on examining the health, diagnosing the injuries, and organizing treatment for the victims. Most of the patients suffered from impact injuries, including 1 case of closed chest trauma, right lung contusion, fractures of 4 ribs and right clavicle, 1 case of closed chest trauma, fractures of 2 right ribs, pubic ramus fracture, and multiple injuries.

Of the 7 patients transferred to the Orthopedic Trauma Center, 3 required emergency surgery, while 4 others with broken bones were immobilized. By noon of the same day, 2 patients had been discharged, while the remaining 17 were being treated as inpatients in stable condition.
