Phu Loc Commune celebrates 60 years of establishment and announces decision to achieve advanced new rural standards

On the evening of April 25, Phu Loc commune (Nho Quan) held a ceremony to celebrate its 60th anniversary (1964-2024) and announced the decision to make the commune meet advanced new rural standards.

Phu Loc is a land with a long history and culture, referred to as the "ancient land" with many historical marks. In particular, Phu Loc is proud to be located in the Quynh Luu Revolutionary Base area - where the earliest Party organization of Ninh Binh province was established. Immediately after gaining power from the colonialists and feudalists, in 1945, Phu Loc established the first Party cell, directly leading the people in the resistance war and national construction.

Through many historical ups and downs and changes in administrative boundaries, Phu Loc land has had many different names. After many separations and mergers, in July 1964, Phu Loc commune was re-demarcated and named Phu Loc until today. Phu Loc commune currently has 15 villages, with a population of 7,200 people.

The Party Committee, government and people of Phu Loc commune, with strong will and aspiration for development; promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland, overcoming difficulties and challenges, upholding the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, seizing every opportunity, promoting potentials and advantages, have achieved important and comprehensive achievements in all fields.

In particular, the economy grew quite well, the economic structure shifted in a positive direction, reducing the proportion of agriculture and fisheries, increasing the proportion of industry, construction, services and tourism. The value of products per hectare of cultivated land in 2023 reached 135 million VND. The average income per capita in 2023 reached 68 million VND/person/year.

Along with economic development, the cultural and social fields are also given attention and investment; the quality of comprehensive education is constantly improved, key education has made much progress, all 3 schools have achieved level 3 quality accreditation, level II national standards. The work of protecting, caring for and improving people's health is implemented synchronously and effectively; social security is ensured.

In particular, identifying new rural construction as a central and continuous task of the entire political system, a breakthrough in socio-economic development, the Party Committee and the communal government have focused on leading, directing, organizing and implementing resolutely the tasks in new rural construction, creating positive changes from awareness to action of cadres, Party members and people of all walks of life.

Along with that, with the attention, leadership, direction and support of the district and the high determination of the entire political system, along with the consensus and active participation of all classes of people and the business community, the new rural construction program in the commune has achieved many important, comprehensive and historic results, contributing to changing the face of the countryside, improving the material and spiritual life of the people...

With the achieved results, in August 2023, Phu Loc commune was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting advanced new rural standards.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leaders of Nho Quan district awarded the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting advanced new rural standards in 2023 to the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Loc commune.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals were commended by all levels and sectors for their outstanding achievements in the movement to build advanced new rural areas.
