At the dyke area 29, Thuy Tay hamlet, Thanh Hoa commune, there are about 60 hectares of 2025 Autumn-Winter rice about 40 days old. To protect the rice, farmers with land in this dyke area hired Kobe to scoop up soil to build up the dyke surface and reinforce it to prevent water from overflowing.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dum, one of the farmers whose land is located in the dike area, said that last year's autumn-winter crop did not have much water, but this year, the water is too high at this time, so farmers had to hire Kobe to build more. He hopes that the authorities at all levels will have solutions to support the people.

According to statistics, in Thanh Hoa commune, there are currently more than 560 hectares of Autumn-Winter 2025 rice, mainly in the tillering stage, and nearly 1,500 hectares of early Winter-Spring rice. In addition, there are many areas of vegetables and fruit trees that need to be protected from flooding.
In recent days, some areas of rice, yam, cassava, and vegetables have been flooded, including cases of dike breaches causing damage. For the remaining areas, farmers have focused on reinforcing the dikes and pumping out the water.
According to information from the Tay Ninh Province Hydrometeorological Station, in the coming time, there is still a possibility of 1 to 3 storms affecting the Northern region. At that time, the Southwest wind in the Southern region will be strong, causing heavy rain in some areas, combined with high tides, which can easily cause flooding in many communes and wards in the province. People need to follow the forecast bulletins to promptly take proactive measures to respond and minimize damage./.
