Which routes in Hanoi are prohibited or restricted for vehicles serving the Autumn Fair?

To ensure order and traffic safety during the 2025 Autumn Fair, Hanoi City Police will direct traffic and organize directions for all types of vehicles.

The 2025 Autumn Fair will take place from October 25 to November 4, at the National Exhibition Center (Truong Sa Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City).

To ensure order and traffic safety during the Autumn Fair, Hanoi City Police will direct traffic and organize directions for all types of vehicles.

Specifically, the temporary ban and restriction on vehicles will start from 5:00 p.m. on October 25 until November 4, 2025.

Routes temporarily banned and restricted for vehicles:

Temporarily banning cargo vehicles with a cargo weight of 3,500 kg or more , passenger vehicles with 29 seats or more (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident response vehicles, vehicles with security badges, vehicles of the police force, military and other priority vehicles as prescribed by law) and restrictions on trucks carrying less than 3,500 kg of goods, passenger cars with less than 29 seats, and private cars and motorbikes operating on the following routes: Ly Son, Truong Sa, and Hoang Sa.

During the above time, Hanoi City Police organized a detour for vehicles to avoid the temporarily prohibited area, restricting vehicles from Hai Phong, Bac Ninh provinces... to Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen provinces... to follow Thanh Tri bridge, Hanoi Expressway, Bac Giang , National Highway 18, Vo Van Kiet... and vice versa.

Vehicles from National Highway 3 to Xuan Canh intersection and Bac Thang Long-Vuc De intersection go in the direction of Hoang Sa and Vo Van Kiet streets.

Vehicles from Noi Bai airport to Vo Nguyen Giap-National Highway 18 to Vo Van Kiet or Hanoi, Bac Giang Expressway.

For other routes and vehicles, comply with the regulations on the operation of means of transport in Hanoi issued under Decision No. 06/2013/QD-UBND dated January 25, 2013 of the Hanoi People's Committee (amended and supplemented by Decision No. 24/2020/QD-UBND dated October 2, 2020 of the Hanoi People's Committee) and other regulatory documents of competent authorities.

Propose the Department of Construction: Based on the traffic diversion notice, direct functional units to adjust the routes of passenger bus routes and limit operations on the routes according to the notice content.

Require all vehicles participating in traffic to voluntarily and strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety and follow the instructions and traffic flow of the authorities.

Previously, in order to serve the people and tourists attending the 2025 Autumn Fair held at the National Exhibition Center on Truong Sa Street, the Hanoi Department of Construction has just announced a traffic organization diagram, providing specific instructions on the entry and exit routes for vehicles.

Specifically, vehicles from the direction of Dong Tru bridge will travel along Truong Sa street → traffic light intersection with internal road A2.11 → turn left to travel along the internal road → turn right onto D2.1 street → approach parking lot P1 or continue to turn right on route D2.2 → parking lots P5, P6.

For vehicles from Nhat Tan Bridge, vehicles traveling on Truong Sa Street → traffic light intersection with internal road A2.11 → turn right to travel along the internal road → turn right onto D2.1 Street → approach parking lot P1 or continue to turn right on route D2.2 → parking lots P5, P6.

Go straight through the traffic light intersection with internal road A2.11 → turn right onto road D2.1, D2.2 to access parking lot P1 or continue straight to the Exhibition Center gate following the internal roads to parking lots P5, P6.

When vehicles exit towards Nhat Tan Bridge, vehicles from parking lots P1, P5, P6 travel along the internal road → route D2.11 → traffic light intersection between D2.11 and Truong Sa Street to turn left to Nhat Tan Bridge.

To go to Dong Tru bridge, vehicles from parking lots P1, P5, P6 travel along internal roads D2.1, D2.2, main road through Exhibition Center gate → Truong Sa street to go to Dong Tru bridge.
