Thanh Thinh Commune: 1 house completely burned down

At around 2 a.m. on August 15, in Ban Chang village, Thanh Thinh commune, a fire broke out, completely burning down the stilt house and property of Ms. Phuong Thi Hoe's family.

At the time of the incident, there were 4 people in the house including Ms. Hoe, her husband and 2 children. Fortunately, the whole family escaped safely. The fire burned down the stilt house along with all the household items, appliances and machinery for agricultural production. The estimated property damage was nearly 100 million VND.

That same morning, Thanh Thinh commune leaders visited, encouraged and provided initial support to the family. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities, with initial findings suggesting it may have been caused by a lightning strike.
