Every year, Thanh Thuy Regional Medical Center launches and maintains the emulation movement "building a green - clean - beautiful medical facility, minimizing plastic waste, contributing to environmental protection, aiming for patient satisfaction".

The center has a Koi fish pond, flower garden, lawn in the campus, flower pots and ornamental plants are arranged in reception areas, waiting rooms, corridors, especially the center collects proverbs, stories about health designed with flower vases, ornamental plants in the lobby, corridors on the 1st and 2nd floors of the examination and paraclinical areas so that patients, their families as well as medical staff have more joy and feel comfortable during the examination and waiting process.

The flower gardens and ornamental plants in the campus are regularly cared for and trimmed. The board of directors always cares, directs, and assigns to each department and organization, and becomes a movement to build a cool green space, contributing to improving working conditions for medical staff and a friendly, relaxing feeling for patients. Creating conditions for patients and relatives to feel at home when coming to the hospital, the unit always focuses on investing, renovating, and upgrading the living space of patients: There is enough drinking water, hygienic living, each department has a separate toilet area for patients, patients' relatives and medical staff, there are cleaning staff and regular monitoring staff at least twice a day and when needed.

Renovate and upgrade treatment rooms, restrooms, and common living areas for patients to ensure clean ceilings and walls, no cobwebs, clean floors, no slippery surfaces, no standing water, and ensure ventilation and adequate lighting.

The patient's bedding, clothes, and beds in the departments are arranged neatly and tidily. Medical staff, patients, and their families are equipped with, use, and maintain medical clothing according to regulations.

The unit stipulates and strictly implements the criteria for waste management: having enough bags and bins for waste disposal according to regulations, properly classifying medical waste. Having areas for storing medical waste and properly storing it. Medical solid waste is collected, transported, and treated according to regulations. Recycled waste is managed according to regulations. The medical facility's wastewater collection system is closed, without foul odors. Wastewater is treated to meet standards.
