DNO - On the morning of December 27, at the workshop "Connection orientation of the Danang City Startup Network Coordination Council", Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong, Chairman of the City Startup Network Coordination Council, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, responsibilities, and connections between members of the council, businesses, and components... contributing to building and developing the innovative startup ecosystem of Danang.

Accordingly, Da Nang has been continuously recognized as the "City of attractiveness for innovative startups" in 2020, 2022 and 2023 by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association. This is one of the highlights of the city's innovative startup development. Da Nang is positioned by the Government and the Central Government as the center of innovative startups, the nucleus for the entire Central region.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong requested member units to continue promoting the achievements, as a basis for clearly planning development in the coming time; focusing on removing obstacles, shortcomings, and limitations to break through and achieve major goals, in addition to the common goals of the city. Agencies and units need to continue researching support policies, submitting them to the City People's Council for promulgation; thereby, joining hands to successfully complete the goal of building an innovative startup center.
Director of the Department of Science and Technology Le Duc Vien said that the City Startup Network Coordination Council plays an important role in promoting the development of startups and innovation in the city; creating a strong connection platform between elements in the startup ecosystem.
Networking activities on domestic and international innovative startups are promoted through attending and organizing many events and forums on innovative startups; connecting universities and research institutes with businesses and incubators, encouraging the formation of innovative startup projects/enterprises from universities and research institutes in the city.
Council members need to be more closely connected, accompany and support each other, to build and develop an increasingly strong Danang startup ecosystem, becoming an attractive destination, connecting innovative startup resources, domestic and international startups to cooperate, invest and develop.

The workshop is an opportunity to evaluate innovative startup activities in Da Nang city, orient and propose solutions to develop the startup ecosystem; and propose the council's action plan in 2024.
This is an opportunity to connect council members to exchange, discuss and make appropriate decisions and instructions to promote and develop the city's startup ecosystem; build an environment to promote domestic and international connection activities; programs and events to encourage cooperation and connection between elements in the ecosystem, share experiences and learn from each other, and develop together.
At the workshop, representatives of the Department of Science and Technology presented the results of the implementation of the project "Supporting the national innovation and startup ecosystem to 2025" in Da Nang city, period 2022-2025; orientation and operation plan of the council in 2024; incubation and startup connection activities at Da Nang Business Incubator; at the same time, proposed solutions and orientations for the development of the startup ecosystem.
