At the "Happy Shopping - Happy Shopping" exhibition area, many participating units introduced products directly to consumers and implemented stimulus activities. Some booths attracted a large number of visitors, including groups of students and office workers - those with high demand for stationery and products for studying and working.
In addition to direct activities, many businesses also take advantage of digital interaction methods such as livestream - an increasingly popular form of shopping for young people. The number of followers, interactions and orders recorded during the program week shows a large demand for products with suitable designs, accessible prices and the ability to experience directly at the event.
Online Friday 2025 sales data reflects a familiar consumer trend: Young shoppers prioritize products that are durable, aesthetically pleasing, and cost-effective. Stationery, creative tools, notebooks, planners, and smart home appliances are all among the categories of interest. Some products achieved high sales in a short period of time, demonstrating the role of real-life experiences and online content in purchasing decisions.

Transparency and quality control
A notable point in the e-commerce picture in the first half of 2025 is that platforms are strengthening quality control. At the event, a representative of TikTok Vietnam shared data from TikTok Shop's Global Transparency Report, showing that the level of monitoring and handling of violations is increasingly tightened to limit poor quality goods and protect consumers.
According to the report, during the period of January-June 2025, the platform rejected 1.4 million substandard seller profiles; blocked more than 70 million products before listing (up 40% compared to the previous period); disabled more than 700,000 violating seller accounts; removed or restricted about 200,000 products after listing; and received more than 900,000 reports from users and coordinated the handling of more than 4,600 recall notices in the markets.
These figures reflect the great pressure to ensure transparency and quality in the e-commerce market, and also show the increasing demands of consumers for product origin and standards.
Looking at Online Friday 2025, we can see changes on all three sides: Platforms tighten transparency and censorship, minimizing violations right from the registration and product listing stages; Businesses focus more on real experiences, clear information, proving quality instead of just promoting; consumers, especially the younger generation, increasingly prioritize transparency, like to see products actually used, have real reviews and try before buying.
These shifts not only create a vibrant Online Friday 2025 season but also contribute to shaping a more civilized and trustworthy digital shopping environment, an important factor for e-commerce to continue to develop sustainably in the future.
Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2025 is organized by the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) from November 13-17 with the theme "Safety - Peace of mind - Happiness".
This year’s theme clearly demonstrates the Government ’s orientation in promoting e-commerce to become a modern, transparent, trustworthy and positive shopping channel. Online Friday not only aims to create a common playground to strengthen trust, protect consumer rights, help them feel secure about product quality and online transactions, but also brings convenience, joy and excitement throughout the digital shopping journey.
