The Import-Export Department's newsletter ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) said that according to statistics from the Customs Department, in October 2025, Vietnam exported 12.1 thousand tons of tea, worth more than 21 million USD, down 16% in volume and down 18.4% in value compared to October 2024.
In the first 10 months of 2025, tea exports reached more than 109 thousand tons, worth nearly 189 million USD, down 10% in volume and 11% in value compared to the same period in 2024.
Regarding export prices, in October 2025, the average tea export price reached 1,764 USD/ton, down 2.8% compared to October 2024. In the first 10 months of 2025, the average tea export price reached 1,725 USD/ton, down 1.03% compared to the same period in 2024.

In October and 10 months of 2025, Pakistan remained Vietnam's largest tea export market. In the first 10 months of 2025, tea exports to this market reached 38,500 tons, worth nearly 75 million USD, down 8.2% in volume and 14.3% in value compared to the same period in 2024, accounting for 35.3% in volume and 39.6% in value of Vietnam's total tea exports. The decrease in tea exports to Pakistan also greatly affected total tea exports in the first 10 months of 2025.
Along with that, Vietnam's tea exports to some of the next major markets such as Russia, the United States, and Indonesia also decreased in October and the first 10 months of 2025.
In contrast, tea exports to China grew strongly in October 2025, up 48.5% in volume and 35.6% in value compared to October 2024. In the first 10 months of 2025, tea exports to China increased by 1.9% in volume and 6% in value compared to the same period in 2024. This is Vietnam's third largest tea export market.
