Resolutely resolve the problems of four important projects on the North-South expressway

The Government Office issued Document No. 7310/VPCP-CN conveying the direction of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh - Head of Inspection Team No. 1 on urgently reviewing and removing difficulties and obstacles related to 4 key traffic projects scheduled to be completed in 2025 under Inspection Team No. 1.

The document stated: According to the proposed progress, the 4 North-South expressway projects of Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan, Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon and Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh sections under Inspection Team No. 1 will be technically opened to traffic for about 86.47 km/231.27 km on August 19, 2025; by the end of September 2025, about 114.7 km will be technically opened to traffic and the remaining 30.1 km will be completed in December 2025. To ensure the progress of completing the projects, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh , Head of Inspection Team No. 1 requested:

The provinces and cities of Da Nang , Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak mobilized local authorities and functional agencies, especially the provincial police force, to organize construction protection at locations and sections where the land has been handed over but people obstructed the process of roadbed compaction and blasting; continue to organize construction protection according to the contractor's plan; at the same time, organize dialogue and propaganda so that people agree and support compensation policies according to regulations and commitments to compensation and support of investors and contractors.

In addition, continue to pay attention and resolutely direct functional agencies and local authorities at all levels to focus on thoroughly resolving difficulties and problems related to compensation, support and resettlement before August 15, 2025; assign focal units for investors and units participating in the Project to contact and coordinate in the process of implementing the remaining work of the Project.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Viet Hung to directly work with Da Nang city and Quang Ngai and Dak Lak provinces to urge and report to the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister.

The Ministry of Construction continues to direct investors and contractors to strictly control the progress, quality of works, traffic safety, labor safety, environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting during the construction process of contractors; promptly direct and handle difficulties and problems according to their authority so that projects can be completed on schedule.
