Son La Newspaper reporters went directly to parks and public places in the city. In the Ho Sanh area, To Hieu ward, a series of stone benches along the park were sprayed with the advertisement "Hi88.com - Bet for fun, earn billions" in red paint.
Mr. Hoang Minh Dung, group 6, Chieng Sinh ward, Son La city, was upset: I took my child to the lake to walk and enjoy the cool breeze, and saw this line of writing printed on the stone benches. I found it very offensive and unsightly.
This situation also happened at the park of group 5 and group 13 of Quyet Thang ward. Ms. Dang Thi Hoa, a resident of group 13, Quyet Thang ward, shared: 3 days ago, I went to the park early in the morning and saw all 20 stone benches sprayed with paint, everyone was indignant. I hope the authorities will soon find the subject and handle it according to the law.
At the Floating House area, Group 5, Quyet Thang Ward, after understanding the situation, the Green Tree Enterprise under Son La Urban Environment and Services Joint Stock Company mobilized workers to fix and handle the situation.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Dinh, Director of the Green Tree Enterprise, said: A total of 49/50 stone benches in this area were vandalized by spray paint. The type of paint used by the subjects is very difficult to handle. Workers had to use gasoline, bleach, and sand the surface of the benches but still could not improve much. Finally, they had to use a grinder to remove this layer of paint, which would lose the color of the stone grain and the aesthetics of the benches.
Not only appearing in residential areas, but also in public areas in the Northwest Square, large urban areas such as Shining City, Picenza... this situation also appears. According to preliminary statistics, the city currently has 6 locations with stone benches sprayed with paint, mainly concentrated in Quyet Thang, To Hieu, Chieng Le wards and Chieng Xom commune...
After receiving the information, the police of communes and wards in the city verified and extracted cameras of people around the area to track down the perpetrators of this act. Through the videos extracted at the locations, a group of 2-3 people were discovered, masked, traveling by motorbike to areas with stone benches, using spray paint to commit the act. The time the subjects committed this act was from 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., when there were no people passing by to avoid being detected.
In an exchange with the City Police leaders, the unit is currently directing the police of communes and wards to coordinate in clearly identifying the behavior of the subjects; continue to monitor and search for the subjects; increase patrols and controls at night to prevent this wrongdoing. At the same time, mobilize people to raise their vigilance and denounce crimes.
