(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Billiards player Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi has announced that she will join the PBA system. This means that Yen Nhi will indirectly be leaving tournaments related to the Vietnam Billiards & Snooker Federation (VBSF).
Yen Nhi announced her joining the PBA (Professional Billiards Association) tournament system this afternoon (November 26).
On her personal page, Yen Nhi wrote: "Honestly, I've never been sure if I'm on the right track, but I believe that every choice, every path will bring me valuable lessons and experiences."

"A new and much more challenging arena (PBA), I hope everyone will still be by my side and support me," Yen Nhi added.
On the PBA's side, the organization has also announced a welcome to Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi, after she decided to join their tournament system.
By joining the PBA's tournament system, Yen Nhi has indirectly parted ways with tournaments related to the VBSF. The Vietnam Billiards & Snooker Federation is a member of the World Billiards Federation (UMB), while the UMB is an organization opposed to the PBA.
Recently, athletes competing in PBA (and LPBA for women) tournaments have been banned from participating in UMB tournaments and related organizations. Yen Nhi's announcement of joining the PBA is seen as her acceptance of the bans from UMB and related organizations.
Previously, Yen Nhi participated in the UMB Women's World 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Championship, held in September of this year. She won a bronze medal.
However, Yen Nhi later expressed her displeasure at not receiving financial support from VBSF to participate in the world championships. VBSF explained that they do not have a policy of providing financial support to athletes participating in international tournaments. They only provide legal support.
