Tripadvisor announced the 10 most interesting travel experiences in Vietnam in 2023, featuring a jeep tour of Hanoi and exploring Ho Chi Minh City street food.

The 10 most interesting travel experiences in Vietnam in 2023 were announced by the travel review organization Tripadvisor on September 18, within the framework of the annual Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Awards. The rankings are based on real-life experiences and feedback from travelers on the website.

The Hanoi Jeep Tour tops the list. It also ranks 10th on Tripadvisor’s list of the world’s top 25 travel experiences. On this tour, visitors will have 4 hours to explore Hanoi’s historical destinations, enjoy delicious street food and drink beer at a rooftop bar. The tour costs 55 USD per person.

Coming in second is the street food tour with students from Ho Chi Minh City. The four-hour experience is by motorbike and is custom-designed. Students will accompany visitors on a journey to explore the city and its delicious street food such as banh mi, grilled scallops and cold beer. The street food tour costs from $25 per person, including hotel pick-up and drop-off. Prices vary depending on the number of participants. This experience ranked 14th on Tripadvisor's list of the world's top 25 travel experiences.

"The thrill of riding a motorbike over the Hai Van Pass and through the forests from Hue to Hoi An" took third place. Tripadvisor commented that the motorbike tour, which is specially designed with the help of professional "drivers", is "the best way" to admire the majestic natural scenery. It will take visitors about 7 hours and 30 minutes to conquer this route. Tour prices are flexible and vary depending on the program and number of participants.
