160 delegates from the Northern midland and mountainous region were trained on irrigation criteria in new rural construction.

- From October 30 to October 31, in Lang Son, the Department of Irrigation Works Management and Construction, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in coordination with the Center for Irrigation Management Consulting with the participation of people, Vietnam Institute of Water Resources organized a training conference to disseminate content and instructions on implementing irrigation criteria in new rural construction (NTM) for 160 officials working in irrigation, NTM construction at all levels, and grassroots officials of 9 provinces in the midland and mountainous regions of the North.

At the conference, the delegates were informed by lecturers about a number of topics such as: legal documents on irrigation related to small-scale irrigation and intra-field irrigation; irrigation criteria in new rural construction, orientation of irrigation criteria in the National Target Program on new rural construction for the period 2026 - 2030; guidance on management of irrigation infrastructure assets, depreciation calculation, depreciation of irrigation infrastructure assets; guidance on completing and improving the quality of irrigation systems; implementation of irrigation criteria under the National Criteria Set for new rural communes and advanced new rural communes; regulations on decentralization and assignment of State management authority in the field of irrigation when implementing the 2-level local government organization model...

During the conference program, delegates focused on discussing contents related to the implementation of irrigation criteria in new rural construction, management of irrigation infrastructure assets and visiting irrigation works in Lang Son province.
