2 districts of Hai Phong city meet advanced new rural standards

(Chinhphu.vn) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed Decisions recognizing two districts of Hai Phong city as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.

Kien Thuy and Vinh Bao districts meet advanced new rural standards

Specifically, in Decision No. 1015/QD-TTg dated May 27, 2025, Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city was recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.

Kien Thuy district, with the motto "Building new rural areas is a continuous, long-term process, with a starting point but no ending point", continues to thoroughly grasp and implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies throughout the process of implementing the Program to build advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas, must do it substantially, taking improving people's lives as the goal.

The new rural development program has made a clear breakthrough, strongly mobilizing the participation of the entire political system and achieving positive results. In particular, the development of synchronous infrastructure has created a foundation for economic development: Infrastructure has been invested synchronously, changing the face of the locality, creating a foundation for economic development, improving the quality of life and welfare for the people...

* In Decision No. 1017/QD-TTg dated May 27, 2025, Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong city was recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.

Since 2019, Vinh Bao district has completed the goal of bringing 100% of communes (29/29 communes) to meet new rural standards. By 2022, the district was recognized by the Prime Minister as meeting new rural standards for the 2021-2025 period; Vinh Bao town was recognized as meeting civilized urban standards and was recognized again in 2024.

In 2024, all 29 communes will continue to be recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards, and by the end of the year, 17 communes will have met model new rural standards, accounting for 58.6%. The district aims to have all 29 communes meet model new rural standards by 2025, completing the highest development step in the new rural construction program.
