According to a reply from the Football Association of Malaysia, the main referee for the match between the Vietnamese national team and Hong Kong on June 15th at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong) will be referee Suhaizi Bin Shukri. This Elite referee was previously invited to officiate a highly anticipated match in the 2022 V-League between Viettel and Binh Dinh FC in round 23. In the 2017 and 2018 seasons, referee Suhaizi Bin Shukri also came to Vietnam to officiate several matches considered crucial to the relegation battle of several V-League clubs.

The two assistant referees for Suhaizi Bin Shukri in the friendly match between Vietnam and Hong Kong, also from Malaysia, were referees Mohd Yusri Bin Muhamad and Muhammad Farhan Bin Abdul Aziz. The fourth official was Vietnamese referee Nguyen Manh Hai.
The two aforementioned assistants have been assigned by the Football Association of Malaysia to continue their duties in the second friendly match of the Vietnamese national team against Syria on June 20th at Thien Truong Stadium ( Nam Dinh ).

The main referee is Tuan Mohd Yassin Bin Tuan Mohd Hanaflah. Recently, in Round 11 of the V-League 2023 on June 5th, referee Tuan Mohd Yassin Bin Tuan Mohd Hanaflah officiated the match considered the "final" of the first half of the season between Thanh Hoa and Hanoi Police FC at Thanh Hoa Stadium. Last season, this same referee was invited to officiate the match between Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City FC in Round 22 of the V-League 2022.
The fourth official in the match between the Vietnamese national team and the Syrian national team was referee Hoang Ngoc Ha.
