- On the evening of April 28, Lang Son Provincial Youth Union held a candle lighting ceremony at the Martyrs Cemetery of Lang Son city, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Attending the ceremony were leaders, officials of the Provincial Youth Union and 200 union members and youth of the city's youth union cluster.
In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, leaders, cadres, and youth union members took a moment to remember the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. At the same time, they offered incense and lit more than 200 candles on the graves to express gratitude and commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives.
This is a meaningful activity, aiming to demonstrate the morality of “Repaying gratitude”, “When drinking water, remember its source” of the youth towards the generation of fathers and brothers who heroically sacrificed for the cause of liberation, unification of the country, building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, it contributesto educating revolutionary traditions, patriotism, national pride, and responsibility of the youth in the current period.
Previously, more than 50 cadres and youth union members in Lang Son city joined forces to clean up and tidy up the Martyrs Cemetery in Lang Son city.
