3 doctors in Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Dong Thap won first prize in the excellent doctor contest

On June 29, the final round of the 1st contest 'Good doctors, solid health insurance' in 2024 was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance.

Each team will go through hypothetical situations to evaluate the medical expertise and response ability of the contestants.

Out of more than 1,400 registered candidates, 15 candidates who are doctors and pharmacists from hospitals and medical centers entered the final round. The final round of the competition took place in the form of a situational handling competition and answering questions from the judges.

The 15 finalists were randomly drawn beforehand and divided into 5 competing teams: policy, communication, insurance, humanities and social security.

The teams answer questions posed after the skit situations.

'The contest for good doctors - solid health insurance' is a useful playground for doctors with the goal of improving knowledge, responsibility, service quality and ensuring the legitimate rights of patients.

The competition is not only an opportunity for doctors and pharmacists to exchange and learn from each other, but also an opportunity to review professional knowledge and legal regulations. This will help each doctor to improve in the work of taking care of community health.

The policy team (Doctor Ta Hoang Thanh Phung, Deputy Head of the General Planning Department of An Giang Central General Hospital, Doctor Nguyen Quoc Dat, General Planning Department of People's Hospital 115 and Doctor Cao Nguyen Tuong Vy, General Planning Department of Hong Ngu Regional General Hospital, Dong Thap) excellently won first prize in the contest.

The line clearing team (Doctor Nguyen Van Dang from Military Hospital 16, Doctor Nguyen Thi Cam Tu working at District 5 Medical Center, Doctor Le Thi Nhat Le, Tan Phu District Medical Center, Ho Chi Minh City) won second prize.

The insurance team, the humanitarian team and the social security team jointly won third prize.
