The consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2025 shows that many of VietinBank's indicators have outstanding growth in the banking system, contributing positively to macroeconomic stability and sustainable development of the economy.

Impressive business growth

As of September 30, 2025, VietinBank 's total consolidated assets reached over VND2,760 trillion, up 15.8% compared to the beginning of the year. Outstanding loans to customers reached VND1,990 trillion, up 15.6%, reflecting credit expansion associated with quality control and real demand of the economy. Capital mobilized from customers reached VND1,780 trillion, up 10.5% compared to the beginning of the year, demonstrating the strong confidence of people and businesses in the bank.

Net profit from business activities before credit risk provision expenses in the first 9 months of 2025 reached 46.5 trillion VND, up 4.1% over the same period last year. Of which, net interest income increased by 5.2%, net profit from other activities increased by 21%. According to the consolidated financial report, pre-tax profit in the first 9 months of 2025 reached 29.5 trillion VND, up 51.4% over the same period last year. This result was achieved thanks to proactive management, optimizing capital balance efficiency, strengthening cost control and effectively exploiting core business segments.

With the goal of attracting new customers and supporting people and businesses to access financial services at reasonable costs, improving customer experience and increasing customer engagement, VietinBank has waived and reduced many types of service fees.

In addition, VietinBank aims to increase the bad debt coverage ratio, improve financial capacity and resilience to risks. By September 30, 2025, the bank will increase the bad debt coverage ratio to 176%.

Excellent digital transformation

By the third quarter of 2025, VietinBank had implemented nearly 100 digital transformation initiatives, 99% of payment transactions were conducted via digital channels, demonstrating steady progress towards a comprehensive digital banking model. Outstanding digital products such as: VietinBank iPay, VietinBank eFAST, eKYC, business loan journey for individual customers, online consumer loans, online disbursement and guarantee, digiGOLD... have brought a seamless, fast, and safe experience, helping customers to be proactive in all transactions.

Recently, VietinBank was honored by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) as the "Outstanding Digital Transformation Enterprise" in 2025. Global Banking & Finance Review magazine announced and honored the award "Most Innovative Digital Banking Application in Vietnam 2025" for the VietinBank iPay Mobile application. Currently, VietinBank iPay Mobile offers more than 250 features, connects 6,000+ suppliers, serving about 13 million customers.
