VietinBank deploys credit package to support storm recovery

In order to promptly share difficulties and accompany people and businesses to overcome the severe consequences caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) and storm No. 11 (Matmo), VietinBank has launched a preferential credit package, with interest rates reduced by up to 2%/year compared to the normal lending floor.

The recent storms No. 10 and 11 have caused serious damage to people and property in many provinces and cities, greatly affecting people's lives as well as production and business activities of enterprises. In the spirit of accompanying customers to overcome difficulties, VietinBank has quickly conducted a review and assessment of customer damage in affected areas, and promptly issued a preferential credit package to support customers in rebuilding after natural disasters.

Specifically, implemented from October 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, the credit package focuses on supporting the urgent needs of people and businesses to overcome the consequences of storms such as repairing and building new houses, restoring damaged production and business establishments, supplementing working capital, investing in machinery and equipment, restoring production, etc.

In particular, customers affected by storms No. 10 and 11 will enjoy preferential interest rates, reduced by up to 2%/year compared to the normal lending floor. At the same time, VietinBank also streamlined the approval and disbursement process, supporting customers to quickly access capital to restore production and stabilize their lives. VietinBank hopes that capital from this credit package will become a fulcrum to help people and businesses recover soon after the storm.
