Attending the ceremony were Comrade Truong My Hoa, former Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, former Vice President of Vietnam , President of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, and Head of the "For the Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Committee, departments, and organizations of Long Thuan ward; and representatives of the Board of Directors, teachers, and students of Truong Dinh High School in the area.

The launching ceremony was held to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the heroic sacrifice of young martyr Vu A Dinh; the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund; and the 12th anniversary of the "For the Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club, contributing to the education of revolutionary traditions, fostering patriotism and social responsibility among cadres, Party members, and the people, especially the younger generation.
2025 marks the second year that the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund has participated in the "Run with UpRace" program. Prior to this, in 2023 – its first year – the Fund achieved many positive results, contributing significantly to spreading the message about health and social responsibility. Through UpRace 2025, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund aims to raise funds to award 8,000 scholarships to ethnic minority students and students from remote, border, and island areas during the 2025-2026 academic year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Truong My Hoa emphasized the humanitarian significance of the UpRace Program and the role of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund in caring for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. She stated that many students, especially those in ethnic minority areas, remote regions, and coastal areas, still face numerous difficulties in their studies and daily lives. The participation of each individual in UpRace, even if only through daily runs, will collectively create a practical resource to support these students in continuing their education.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the running route for the program. Accordingly, delegates and participants will start from the Children's House gate, move along the Ao Thiec road, run around the pond area, and return to the starting point. The route is arranged appropriately, ensuring safety and creating favorable conditions for all participants.
The "UpRace 2025 - Every Step Matters" running program in Long Thuan ward is a meaningful activity that contributes to raising public awareness of the importance of physical training, while also spreading the spirit of mutual support and solidarity in caring for disadvantaged students, contributing to the successful implementation of social welfare goals in the area.
