An Giang launches youth volunteer teams to support the operation of the two-level government model

On July 7, the Central Youth Union launched youth volunteer teams to support the operation of the two-level government model and provide online public services at the grassroots level, communes, wards, and special economic zones. At the An Giang province online bridge, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Youth Union held a launching ceremony at the Rach Gia Ward People's Committee.

Implementation period is from July to the end of August 2025, in 102 commune-level administrative units, including: 85 communes, 14 wards and 3 special zones, focusing on communes, wards and special zones with special conditions such as densely populated areas; remote areas, ethnic minority areas, border areas, islands; industrial parks; areas lacking technological infrastructure...

The deployment of the teams aims to promote the pioneering and voluntary role of union members, youth and students in supporting local authorities in implementing the two-tier administrative model and digital transformation. At the same time, it supports officials, civil servants and people in accessing and effectively using online public services and digital platforms; creating a training and dedication environment for young people, contributing to building digital government and digital society right from the grassroots.

At the ceremony, An Giang Provincial Youth Union launched 4 volunteer teams including the volunteer team of the provincial People's Public Security Youth Force, the volunteer student team, the volunteer team of Rach Gia youth and the volunteer team of young cadres, civil servants and public employees of An Giang province.
