NDO - Starting tomorrow, more than 109,078 candidates in Hanoi, along with over 1 million candidates nationwide, will begin the National High School Graduation Examination. This afternoon (June 26th), candidates arrived at the examination centers to complete the procedures for the 2024 National High School Graduation Examination.

On the morning of June 26th, at the Thang Long High School examination site, the invigilators held a meeting at the site as scheduled.

Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen, Principal of Tran Phu High School - Hoan Kiem (Hanoi), and Head of the Thang Long High School examination center, stated that the Thang Long High School examination center has a total of 21 examination rooms, 2 reserve rooms, with 504 candidates and 71 invigilators. The examination center has also reported to the examination steering committee that it has fully prepared contingency plans in accordance with directives.

Ms. Le Thi Hai Anh, Deputy Head of the examination center at Thang Long High School, said that contingency plans at the examination center were checked before the exam. The storage room for candidates' belongings was prepared according to regulations. In addition, the examination center received strong support from the Hai Ba Trung District Youth Union in areas such as ensuring traffic flow before the exam, providing a place to store candidates' belongings, and assisting candidates in case of rain…

The contingency plans were carefully checked by the Thang Long High School examination center before the 2024 High School Graduation Examination took place.

Volunteers are preparing the lockers for candidates, and they are divided into different areas to make it convenient for candidates to participate in the exam.

On the afternoon of June 26th, candidates arrived at the examination site to complete the necessary procedures for the exam.

In 2024, the total number of candidates taking the 2024 High School Graduation Examination is 1,067,391 (compared to 1,024,063 in 2023). Of these, the number of independent candidates registered to take the exam is 45,344 (compared to 37,841 in 2023).

The provinces and cities with the highest number of registered candidates are: Hanoi: 109,078 candidates; Ho Chi Minh City: 88,196 candidates; Thanh Hoa : 38,677 candidates.
