Apple unveils M4 Max chip.

The M4 Max is manufactured using TSMC's advanced 3nm process. It is known that the two high-end versions of the MacBook Pro will use the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, with two screen size options: 14 and 16 inches.

The top-of-the-line M4 Max will feature a CPU with 12 high-performance cores and four energy-efficient cores, making it 2.2 times faster than the M1 Max. The internal GPU has 40 cores, delivering 1.9 times faster performance than the M1 Max. This processor supports up to 128 GB of memory and a bandwidth of 546 GB/second.

Inside the new SoC is an enhanced Media Engine with two video encoding engines and two ProRes accelerators. The M4 Max also supports Thunderbolt 5 with 120 GB/second data transfer speeds.

The high-end version of the M4 Max will have a minimum of 24GB of RAM (up from 18GB in the previous generation). It will feature a Liquid Retina XDR display, with an optional nano anti-glare coating, a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits for SDR content, and a 12MP Center Stage camera. Apple promises up to 24 hours of battery life – the longest on a MacBook ever.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 Max chip starts at 50 million VND, while the 16-inch version starts at 65 million VND. The top-of-the-line option with an anti-glare screen, 128 GB RAM, and 8TB storage costs 187 million VND.
