This new infrastructure will serve as a dynamic community where startups, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), large enterprises, and public sector organizations can collaborate, experiment, and thrive together with access to the latest technologies such as generative artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and many more.

This new AWS Region will also enable customers with local data storage needs to securely store their data locally in Malaysia, helping to reduce latency when accessing data and serve the demand for cloud services in the Southeast Asia region.

This allows healthcare facilities to act quickly, especially for cases that require urgent intervention.
