After 2 weeks of launching in China, Oppo has just introduced the flagship smartphone duo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro to the international market. In this generation, the company focuses on upgrading the camera, equipping MediaTek's most powerful processor chip, battery capacity over 7,000 mAh and a new AI feature set.
Surprisingly large battery
The first highlight of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro comes from the battery capacity. While some Chinese smartphones have reduced batteries when sold internationally, Oppo keeps the level at 7,025 mAh (Find X9) and 7,500 mAh (Find X9 Pro). Using 3rd generation silicon-carbon technology, Oppo promises that the device's battery life after 5 years will reach at least 80%.
To increase battery capacity, Oppo had to abandon the round camera cluster, switching to a traditional square shape. The device still supports SuperVOOC wired fast charging with a maximum capacity of 80W, in addition to 50W wireless fast charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.

Find X9 and X9 Pro are equipped with a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. The Find X9 Pro's screen is 6.78 inches, while the Find X9's is 6.59 inches. Both use AMOLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nit brightness, which can reach a maximum of 3,600 nits when used outdoors.
On the Find X9 series, the fingerprint sensor under the screen uses ultrasonic technology, increasing security compared to the optical sensor like the Find X8. The device has a square design, with 4 rounded edges similar to its predecessor. The left side of the device has an additional Snap Key button, allowing quick activation of features according to the user's preferences.
200 MP telephoto camera
The periscope camera on the Find X9 Pro has a resolution of 200 MP, a sensor size of 1 / 1.56 inches, supports DCG (Dual Conversion Gain) technology, allowing one frame to be captured with 2 different light patterns. This camera has a focal length of 70 mm, an aperture of f / 2.1, a Prism Hybrid OIS anti-shake system and active optical alignment (Active Optical Alignment).
With Find X9, the device has a 50 MP main camera, Sony LYT-808 sensor 1 / 1.4 inch size, supports optical image stabilization (OIS), aperture f / 1.6. Meanwhile, the periscope camera has a resolution of 50 MP, focal length 73 mm, aperture f / 2.6 with OIS, using the same LYT-600 sensor as last year with a size of 1 / 1.95 inch.

The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro's ultra-wide-angle cameras are the same with 50 MP resolution, 15 mm focal length, 1/2.76 inch Samsung JN5 sensor, and autofocus support. In this generation, Oppo focuses on video recording in 10-bit Log color format, allowing for better color and detail post-production. All lenses support 4K @ 60 fps recording with Dolby Vision, while the main and telephoto cameras support up to 120 FPS.
With LUMO Image Engine technology, Oppo integrates many AI features to reduce noise and improve image quality. The company also applies optimization algorithms for CPU and GPU when taking photos. Thanks to that, Find X9 allows taking photos with 50 MP original resolution, helping users to crop photos after taking them without reducing the quality too much.

Oppo also introduced the Hasselblad Professional Teleconverter accessory for the Find X9 Pro. This is an extended lens with 12 lenses, increasing the optical zoom to 10x (230mm equivalent focal length), electronic zoom to 200x, video zoom to 50x. The device also has a True Color camera, a 9-channel multispectral sensor for more accurate color reproduction.
Expanding AI
In terms of software, the Find X9 duo uses ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. The company emphasizes optimization with smooth motion effects through the Luminous Rendering Engine mechanism. Users are promised updates to 5 major Android versions, along with up to 6 years of security patch updates.
Data synchronization features are also improved on ColorOS 16. Users can transfer files, project the screen, and copy content (clipboard) from their phone to their Mac, in addition to available features such as sending files wirelessly to their iPhone.

In collaboration with Google, Oppo brings a series of AI features to Find X9. In addition to Gemini, the company integrates many self-developed features such as image noise reduction, AI Recorder (recording and summarizing), AI Portrait Glow (enhancing portrait quality in low light conditions), AI Writer (content synthesis, mind mapping) or AI Mind Space.
AI Mind Space can be activated via the Snap Key. When activated, Mind Space scans the content displayed on the screen, calling Gemini for actions such as adding events to the calendar, summarizing text, or saving information. This feature also supports voice commands. Find X9 users get 3 months of Google AI Pro package, along with 2 TB of storage.
Find X9 Pro is finished with a metal frame, IP68/IP69 water resistance and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Meanwhile, Find X9 has a similar design, using Gorilla Glass 7i.
In terms of color, the Find X9 comes in black, titanium, and red, while the Find X9 Pro comes in white and gray, which are less colorful than the Chinese version. The Find X9 starts at 1,000 euros for the 12GB RAM, 512GB storage version. Meanwhile, the Find X9 Pro starts at 1,300 euros for the 16GB RAM, 512GB storage option.
