Phuoc Thang Ward promotes solidarity and accelerates digital transformation

On the morning of October 29, the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Phuoc Thang Ward (HCMC), term 2025 - 2030, closed after two working days. The Congress determined the direction of activities with many innovative and practical contents.

During the past term, the ward Fatherland Front organized more than 80 propaganda campaigns, 25 environmental cleaning campaigns, mobilized to build new and repair 3 Great Unity houses worth more than 100 million VND. The movement to care for social security continued to spread when the "For the Poor" Fund raised 344 million VND, supported 53 disadvantaged households and gave nearly 500 gifts to people.

The Congress set out 8 key objectives, emphasizing propaganda work, grasping public opinion, promoting digital transformation, building a team of "solidarity - responsibility - professionalism" cadres, associated with the "Digital Education for All" movement in the area.

Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Phan Hong An suggested that the ward Front continue to promote its core role in building the great national unity bloc, closely following the motto: "Solidarity, democracy, humanity, innovation, development".

The Congress elected 42 members of the Phuoc Thang Ward Fatherland Front Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Ms. Hoang Thi Le Dung was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Ward Fatherland Front Committee.

On this occasion, the Ward Fatherland Front Committee also launched a fundraising campaign to support flood victims, spreading the spirit of "mutual love" in the community.
