
The ASEAN Women Entrepreneur Awards ceremony was organized by the ASEAN Women Entrepreneur Network (AWEN) within the framework of the ASEAN Women Entrepreneur Summit in Jakarta, a side event of the 43rd ASEAN Summit.
ASEAN Secretary-General, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn; Indonesian Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises, Mr. Teten Masduki; AWEN Founding Chairwoman, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh; and AWEN Chairwoman, Ms. Diah Anita Prihapsari, attended, spoke, and presented awards to outstanding ASEAN women entrepreneurs, affirming the significant contributions of ASEAN women entrepreneurs to innovation, economic development, social welfare, sustainable and inclusive development in the region.

Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien - General Director of Lien Thai Binh Duong IPPG Company, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien - General Director of Sao Thai Duong JSC Company, and Ms. Bui Thi Hai Yen - General Director of Hanel Company, are three female CEOs from Vietnam who were honored to receive this award.

CEO Le Hong Thuy Tien, wife of Mr. Jonathan Hanh Nguyen (Chairman of IPPG), has contributed to making IPPG one of the largest retail businesses in Vietnam with over 25,000 employees, 33 subsidiaries, and business operations in various sectors.

CEO Le Hong Thuy Tien has achieved many accomplishments in social activities, empowering and enhancing the professional development of Vietnamese women in the workplace. She has been invited to speak at many prestigious conferences in Vietnam and around the world . She is one of the first Vietnamese and Asian women to be invited to speak twice in two consecutive years, 2018 (Sydney, Australia) and 2019 (Basel, Switzerland) at the World Summit Forum for Women. She was selected by Forbes as one of the Top 50 most influential women in Vietnam in 2018-2019. In July 2021, Ms. Thuy Tien was awarded the title of Knight by the President of the Republic of Italy for her contributions to social activities and dynamic business practices.
