In the Northern region and from Thanh Hoa to Hue, the weather continues to be cold. In the Northern mountainous region, it is very cold, with some places experiencing severe cold. In the Northern mountainous region, it is 6-9 degrees Celsius, and in the high mountainous region, it is below 5 degrees Celsius in some places.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, cold air has now affected the mountainous and midland areas of the Northeast. The wind in the Gulf of Tonkin has increased to level 6, gusting to level 7.

Northeast winds inland will strengthen to level 2-3, coastal areas to level 3-4, with gusts of level 6 in some places.

Hanoi area is cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 9-12 degrees Celsius.

At sea, in the Gulf of Tonkin, there will be strong northeast winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, and waves 2-4m high. In the North East Sea (including the Hoang Sa sea area), the northeast winds will gradually increase to level 7, gusting to level 9, rough seas, and waves 4-6m high.

In the central East Sea, the Northeast wind will gradually increase to level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9; in the sea from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, the Northeast wind will gradually increase to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9; the sea will be rough, with waves 3-6m high.

From noon on January 15, the sea area from Binh Dinh to Ca Mau, the sea area west of the South East Sea (including the sea area west of Truong Sa), the Northeast wind will gradually increase to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, rough seas, waves 2-5m high.

Due to the influence of cold air strengthening from January 15-16, the area from Ha Tinh to Binh Dinh will have rain, showers, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. High mountainous areas are likely to experience cold, frost and frost; in thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind can affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.

Localized heavy rains may cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams; landslides on steep slopes. Strong winds and large waves at sea may affect boating and other activities. Severe cold, frost and frost may affect crops and livestock.

- Cloudy, with rain, showers, and locally heavy rain and thunderstorms in the North; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the South; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. Northeast wind level 2-3; coastal areas level 3-4, with gusts of level 6 in some places. Cold in the North; thunderstorms with the possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature, North 19-21 degrees Celsius, South 22-24 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature, North 21-24 degrees Celsius; South 25-27 degrees Celsius, especially Binh Thuan 29-31 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands region

- Cloudy, showers and thunderstorms in some places. Northeast wind level 2-3.

Lowest temperature 17-20 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 26-29 degrees Celsius, some places above 29 degrees Celsius.

Southern region

- Cloudy, showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the late afternoon and evening there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. Northeast wind level 2-3.

- Lowest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 29-32 degrees Celsius.
