Bac Lieu appoints Mr. Luu Hoang Ly as Director of Department of Agriculture and Environment

On the afternoon of February 21, the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province held a conference to announce the resolution of the Provincial People's Council and the decisions of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the arrangement of the apparatus and personnel work in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee.

Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Lu Van Hung and Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu presented decisions and flowers to congratulate the new department leaders.

At the conference, Mr. Huynh Huu Tri - Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee announced the resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the organization and arrangement of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.

Specifically, establish the Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance; establish the Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; establish the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; establish the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology.

Establish the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs; establish the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of the Ethnic Minorities and Religion Committee receiving additional functions, tasks, and organization of the state management apparatus on religion from the Department of Home Affairs.

Representatives of the Department of Home Affairs also announced the decisions of the Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee on the appointment of directors and deputy directors of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee after the merger.

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung - Director of the Department of Transport (former) was appointed as Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Bui Thanh Toan - Director of the Department of Information and Communications (former) was appointed as Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

Mr. Luu Hoang Ly - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (former) was appointed as Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Lieu province.

Mr. Luu Hoang Ly - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (former) was appointed as Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Tu Minh Phuc - Director of the Department of Home Affairs (former) was appointed as Director of the Department of Home Affairs.

Mr. Huynh Cong Quan - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment (former) was appointed as Director of the Department of Finance; assigned Mr. To Thanh Phuong - Head of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions (former) to take on the task of Acting Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; transferred and appointed Ms. Ho Thi Tuyet Nhung - Director of the Department of Finance (former) to hold the position of Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province.
