Beach with a view of 'both Da Lat and Vung Tau' is a 4-hour drive from Hanoi

A beach in Nghe An attracts attention for its wild beauty. There is a road close to the sea with a check-in corner that tourists compare to Vung Tau and rows of pine trees that remind them of Da Lat.

Bai Lu is located in Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province, about 25 km from Vinh city center, more than 260 km from Hanoi , equivalent to 4 - 5 hours by car.

Not as bustling, bustling, and full of amenities as Cua Lo, Bai Lu has a wild beauty with majestic natural scenery. This place is also known as "Da Lat on the sea" in Nghe An thanks to its vast pine forests stretching out to the sea.

The coastline here curves in the shape of a crescent moon with clear water all year round, blue in the summer, long, gently sloping, golden sand beaches, and gentle waves.

In the past 2 years, Lu beach has become an attractive destination for many young tourists after videos recording beautiful sunrises and sunsets were posted on social networks.

Mr. Nguyen Phuong Thao (born in 1994, from Ha Tinh, currently working in Vinh) has many videos and articles introducing Lu beach.

"Bai Lu is one of my favorite places to watch the sunrise. Every day when the sky is clear and the weather is nice, I drive there to enjoy the scenery.

This place has a long coastline, one side is the mountain, the other side is the sea, beautiful terrain, blue sea water and golden sand. Bai Lu has not been exploited much for tourism and services, so it retains its wild beauty, suitable for those looking for peace," Mr. Thao shared.

Having had hundreds of thousands of views on Lu beach, Ha Vy and Ha Trang (owners of the channel Hai chua toi vui qua) were most impressed with the road leading to Lu beach with shady trees and clear blue water.

Under the video shared by the two girls about Lu beach, many netizens commented that the shooting angle here is just as beautiful as Nha Trang and Vung Tau.

"The scenery here is very beautiful. I just regret that this place has not been invested in yet so no one takes care of it, it is mainly spontaneous services, and there is a lot of garbage affecting the beauty," said Ha Trang.

Favorite shooting angle on the coastal road of Bai Lu

Dao Trang, a female tourist from Hanoi, came to Nghe An during the April 30 holiday. In addition to staying and having fun in Cua Lo, Trang also went to Lu beach to experience the "million view" photo angles.

"The coastal slope, rocky beach, coconut trees, and pine forests here are all very beautiful. The sea water is clear and the wind is cool and fresh. This is an ideal place for sightseeing.

However, I don't see many people swimming because the beach has a lot of gravel. There aren't many shops here either," Trang shared her feelings.

Dao Trang is impressed with the wild beauty of Lu beach.

According to information from the website of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, the name "Lu beach" originates from Lu Son mountain that has stood tall for thousands of years on the beach.

Legend has it that there was a lovesick traveler who loved to travel the world. When he arrived here, he fell in love with a mermaid with a natural beauty and a captivating voice. But then, after many events, they still could not come together.

The traveler was absent-mindedly standing on the beach and transformed into Lu Mountain, now called Lu Son. And the beach at the foot of the mountain with waves endlessly lapping from the ocean like the love words of an unfinished love, that is Lu Beach.

If you have time, visitors can go to the top of Lu mountain, where you can see Song Ngu island, Mat island, Rong mountain, Lo mountain, Co mountain, Kiem mountain... to embrace the blue coast of Lu beach in your sight.

The best time to explore Lu beach is from April to September, when the weather in Nghe An has little rain.

About 10 km from this beach, visitors can visit the 700-year-old shipbuilding village Trung Kien in Nghi Thiet commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province.

Tourists can also combine their schedule from Hanoi to visit Dong beach (in Nghi Son peninsula, Thanh Hoa) and Lu beach. These are all pristine beaches, clear blue water, and beautiful scenery.

For those who do not like crowded places, Lu beach will be an ideal stopover.

"This journey is ideal for people to temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of urban life and seek the peaceful beauty of nature," said Vu Duc Hung, a tourist from Hanoi.
