On the morning of September 10, the Vietnam Folk Arts Association in Ha Tinh organized a provincial-level scientific seminar with the theme "Solutions to preserve and promote the cultural heritage values of the Tien Dien - Lai Thach region, serving socio-economic development".
The workshop was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy My and Researcher Phan Thu Hien, Head of the Vietnam Folk Arts Association in Ha Tinh, with the participation of many scientists and researchers inside and outside the province.

Of which, Tien Dien area has 8 relics, 1 special national relic; Lai Thach area has 31 relics, of which 5 are national relics. This system of relics clearly reflects the unique historical - cultural tradition of this land of outstanding people.

At the conference, 22 presentations focused on affirming the unique value of cultural heritages in Tien Dien and Lai Thach, the homeland of many great celebrities such as: Great poet Nguyen Du, Nguyen Cong Tru. Notably, this land currently owns 5/7 heritages of Ha Tinh that have been recognized by UNESCO, including: Great poet Nguyen Du, Ca Tru, Phuc Giang School Woodblocks, Hoang Hoa Su Trinh Do, Han Nom documents of Truong Luu village.
The workshop clarified the unique cultural heritage values of Tien Dien - Lai Thach region to build and prepare a dossier to submit to UNESCO to honor more typical celebrities such as: Nguyen Huy Oanh, Nguyen Huy Tu, Nguyen Thiep, Nguyen Cong Tru...

At the workshop, many delegates also contributed ideas to propose solutions to orient tourism development in the Tien Dien - Lai Thach region. This is a land with strengths in cultural heritage values, but has not yet developed its strengths to its full potential. In the coming time, many delegates hope that departments and branches will have solutions to develop tourism worthy of this heritage land.
At the end of the workshop, scientists unanimously agreed that Tien Dien and Lai Thach - two seemingly separate cultural sources but blended and complemented each other, creating a unique appearance of Ha Tinh. This is also an important scientific basis for the province to develop cultural tourism, linking conservation with socio-economic development in the new period.
