(GLO)- On May 18, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chu Se, Kbang, and Krong Pa districts handed over 5 houses to families with housing difficulties in the area.

On the afternoon of May 18, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Krong Pa district handed over and put into use the “Great Unity” house for the family of Ms. Ro Cam H’Lem-Buon Ia Rnho (Dat Bang commune). The house is made of a wooden frame, corrugated iron and plank walls, a cold corrugated iron roof, a cement floor, and has an area of 70 square meters.

The total cost of building the house is 75 million VND, of which the Gia Lai Province "For the Poor" Fund supported 50 million VND, and relatives and family contributed materials including wood and boards worth 25 million VND.

On the same afternoon, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kbang district presented two gratitude houses to the families of Ms. Dinh Thi Cuc - village 2 (Dong commune) and Mr. Dinh Van Khe - Ha Nung village (Son Lang commune), who are poor households.

Accordingly, the house given to Ms. Dinh Thi Cuc's family has an area of 60 m2, the total construction cost is 130 million VND, of which BIDV Gia Lai Branch sponsored 50 million VND, the family contributed 80 million VND. The house given to Mr. Dinh Van Khe's family has an area of 42 m2, the total construction cost is 85 million VND, of which BIDV Gia Lai Branch sponsored 50 million VND, Thien Tam Fund supported 25 million VND, the family contributed 10 million VND.

* On the morning of May 18, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chu Se district coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bar Maih commune to organize a handover ceremony of 2 "Great Solidarity" houses to 2 poor households: Mrs. Siu Amil's family and Mrs. Ong's family residing in Pham Kleo Ngol village (Bar Maih commune, Chu Se district).

The house handed over to Ms. Siu Amil's family is a level 4 house, with a construction area of 45 square meters, worth 70 million VND, of which the Central Fund for the Poor supported 50 million VND, and the family contributed 20 million VND.

The house handed over to Mrs. Ong's family has a construction area of 35 square meters, worth 50 million VND, of which the Fund for the Poor of Chu Se district supported 35 million VND, and the family contributed 20 million VND.

These are 2 of 15 households with difficult housing circumstances reviewed by the District Front in 2023, requesting the Front at all levels to support funding for housing construction, contributing with local Party committees and authorities to eliminate dilapidated houses in the area, completing the national target program on new rural construction of the district.
