(NLDO) - At the working session, the delegation listened to a report on the practical model of innovation and valuable technological solutions applied at Cuu Long University.

On the afternoon of October 22, a working delegation of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission led by Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, visited and surveyed the innovation model and valuable technological solutions at Cuu Long University.

Speaking at the reception, Distinguished Teacher Luong Minh Cu said that every year the school spends tens of billions of VND on scientific research and innovation activities, focusing on compiling textbooks, updating and improving training programs, scientific research of lecturers and students, participating in startup idea competitions, technical innovation competitions Tran Dai Nghia, Eureka, Loa Thanh... Many topics are new and highly applicable such as the model of raising earthworms and raising eels without mud, creating livelihoods for hundreds of farming households in the Mekong Delta region.

The President of Cuu Long University affirmed that Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation has opened up bottlenecks in breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation to promote socio-economic development.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat emphasized 3 contents that need to be discussed, including: How the school combines innovation with training activities, scientific research to form ideas for implementation to results with practical application value; coordination between the school and businesses, government and social organizations, thereby showing the role of the parties in bringing knowledge into production and life; difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing digital transformation innovation; recommendations of the school to contribute to perfecting the policy mechanism to support innovative scientific research activities of the higher education sector.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen expressed her joy when the delegation of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and worked at Cuu Long University.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee thanked the school for accompanying Vinh Long province in training human resources for the province in particular and the country in general.
