Ensuring electrical safety during storms

Dak Lak Electricity Company said that the unit is actively implementing solutions to respond to storm No. 13, strengthening management of electricity supply operations and ensuring electrical safety.

The electricity industry has directed forces to be on duty, inspect, reinforce key points, and clear the route corridor.

At the same time, fully prepare materials, equipment, fuel, and necessities to be ready to respond, minimize damage, and restore power to customers as quickly as possible after the storm.

Currently, units are mobilizing human resources, materials and equipment to the eastern region of Dak Lak province to proactively handle electrical incidents or emergencies.

To ensure absolute safety for people, Dak Lak Electricity Company will proactively temporarily stop supplying electricity to deeply flooded areas with risks of electrical insecurity.

At the same time, organize 24/7 on-duty; direct subordinate units to mobilize maximum human resources, vehicles, materials and equipment, ready to restore power supply as soon as the storm subsides, water recedes and safe conditions for power supply are ensured.

During power outages caused by storms and floods, at the headquarters locations, regional power management teams will prepare free power sources for people to charge their phones.
